Fund the
Next Generation.
If the government can repay student loans for four-year degrees, we can fund the people getting started in the trades — whether they need a car to get to work, tools to show up on day one, or resources to pass their certification.
No bureaucracy. No red tape. Just real people helping real people get to work.
The Barrier
Isn't Ambition.
Most kids who want to get into the trades aren't stopped by a lack of drive. They're stopped by a $400 tool kit they can't afford, a car that won't start, or a $200 certification exam they can't pay for.
The government spent billions forgiving student loans for four-year degrees. Meanwhile, a kid trying to become an electrician can't afford the boots to walk onto the job site.
The Bluecollarship exists to close that gap — one grant at a time.
Transportation
A reliable car or bus pass to get to the job site. You can't earn if you can't show up.
Example: $800 for a used vehicle repair or 3 months of transit passes
Tools & Equipment
A starter tool set for the trade. Most apprenticeships require you to show up with your own.
Example: $300–$600 for a basic trade tool kit
Study & Licensing
Books, prep courses, and exam fees for certifications and licensing.
Example: $150–$400 for ASE, EPA 608, or OSHA 10 prep
Work Gear
Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, and PPE required on day one.
Example: $200–$350 for a full PPE starter kit
